Challenges Among States

      After World War ll, there was tension between two major nations, the Soviet Union and the United States of America, which is known as the Cold War Era. Both had a group and countries took part in them. The U.S. had the NATO allies, while the Soviet Union had the Warsaw Pact allies. The NATO wanted to contain communism in hopes of not having something like WWll occur again. They saw pro-Soviet governments in areas that were taken from the Nazis. In response, the NATO and the U.S. sought ways to confine these communist ways. Beginning with 12 countries, the NATO expanded into an agreement between 28 countries. Beginning with 8 countries, the Warsaw Pact only hold 5 members now. 

 What is Terrorism?

      Terrorism can be seen as a extreme form of expression, which is most likely to be against all values of democracy, cilvilization, and humanity. Terrorist acts, methods and practices are to adopted by movements which are in the nature of exclusion. State sponsoring terrorism is when the government supports these terrorist factions in their state. States involved with sponsoring of terrorism do some of the following provide supplies, training, false identification, and other forms of support to non-state terrorist organizations. Iran, Sudan, and Syria are 3 countries the U.S. has listed under state sponsors of terrorism.
