Some folk cultures have found it hard to keep their cultures strong in the sense that pop culture is getting in the way. Since pop culture is easily connected and spread this causes a sustainability problem for the folk culture. Interaction with pop culture makes it sometimes difficult to keep old beliefs, and practices apparent in their communities. Globalization has stayed a problem in folk communities, when trying to deal with keeping their beliefs strong. 

    Two ways pop culture has changed our enviornment is by either modifying our natural enviornment or by changing landscapes to be more uniform. With diffusion occuring, this has caused for pop culture to continously deplete our natural resources from our enviornment. Demand for items go up and pop culture uses those resources quickly. Secondly, because with the modern times, this has made landscapes change drastically. We have flatened hills, and dug up grounds to build streets, shopping centers, and houses. An example of a drastically changed landscape would be any golf courses.
