Patterns with Religion

Religions sometimes distinguish different areas as important, and/or sacred. Religions do believe certain places hold these titles of being sacred because they have religious significance. These places have qualities that make them different/unique. People believe they have order and are whole. They also are historical sites, homelands, and are mystico-religious sites to people of that religion.

As for ethnic religions, since ethnis religions are basically land locked, usually where ever that religion was birthed, it is most likely where that ethnic religion is located physically. Many ethnic holy places are usually where that ethnic religion is physically clustered. Example, hinduism was found in India, and where is Hinduism most popular and where are many of the holy sites found? India.
