Local Languages

Two countries that peacefully share more than one language are Canda, and the United States. Canda is a perfect example, because they have both English and French as the main languages. Long ago, the French were the ones who took over Canada, so French is Canda's mother language. In Quebec, Canda, the language is mainly French. The population there is a French speaking population. The fusion of French into Canada has been always calm. As for United States, even though English is the main language, may popular and known languages are spoken here. Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, you name it, there is probably somewhere in the U.S. where it is spoken. This has always been the deal with the U.S. That is the result of immigration.

Lingua Franca

Why does a language begin to decline in speakers over the year? In particular, why has the Celtic language begin to wither away over the hundreds of years its been around? This is because it began with the disunity of the Celtic people during the Middle Ages, which led to the loss of status of having to be the language of them, which instead was English. Lastly, the lack of instruction of the language has led to the decline over the last couple hundred years. Preserving the language is what is wanted, because it is a part of history. If an language dies, then the history of that language and information dies with it, and people dont want this to happen.

Lingua Franca is a language used in cross-cultural communication or trade. It is also known as the bridge language among different cultures. It is a language that two people of different cultures/language can use to communicate between eachother.

America is a dominant power in the world's economy, and decisions because it is the lingua franca for many doing international business. American music and movies are very important in popular culture and causes the language to diffuse widely and be popular widely. The internet is mainly in English, more than half to be exact. English isn't only the second language in other countries but the official in many.

French has been a big part in North America, and to pin point where, in Canada. One of the main languages in Canda is French and English. Quebec is a city where the population thrives on the French language everyday. Almost about 95% of Quebec's population uses French in their everyday lives.

Spanish is a very common language to learn in North America. Mexico being mainly all Spanish, this language has seeped into other countries such as the U.S. where many people have learned to adopt this language into their lives. It is very common to meet someone nowadays who can speak both Spanish and English.
