Development of Agriculture

Major centers of domestication of plants involved different areas such as Southwest Asia with the crop of wheat and barely around 10,000 years with also lentils and olives that came from the West to Europe and East to Central Asia. Rice was domesticated about 10,000 years ago in East Asia. Millet at an early date domesticated along the Yellow River. As for the domestication of animals during this time, patterns of diffusion like the Columbian Exchange resulted in the globalization of various animals

Aricultural regions are influenced by the natural environment like the climate, the soil the plants and/or vegetation is planted in, and natural landforms. Populations alter the landscape, like cutting down forest lands, slashing and burning, draining wetlands, and all of that so that we as are able to increase food production to provide to the amount of people around.

The Second Agricultural Revolution benefitted from the industrial revolution. Technology that was provided from the Industrial Revolution was what allowed an increase in production and distribution of products. Land where fields had crops doubled and even tripled in size, which ultimately led to a boom in population.

The green revolution led to a rapid increase in production of crops. It led to a boom in agriculture industry, affecting farmers with the amount of product needed to be for its output yield. Also the way the product is now seen with all these modifications done to products our perspectives have changed all due to the green revolution. It is actually seen that we are moving backwards for the first time.
