What is Morphology, Site and Situation?

Morphology is the study of the physical form and structure or urban places.

Site is the absolute location of a place, decribed by local relief, landforms, and other cultural or physical characteristics.

Lastly, situation is the relative location of a place in relation to the physical and cultural characteristics of the surrounding area, and the connections, and interdependencies within that system. Site would be saying that a company such as Target is located on the corner of W Pacheco and Mercy Springs, while situation would be saying it is next to highway 5, and near the Stoneridge Plaza.
